IDEATE Ireland

IDEATE Ireland is a prestigious not-for-profit student startup competition that aims to identify and nurture innovative ideas from third-level institutions across Ireland. The founders of IDEATE Ireland firmly believe in the power of entrepreneurship as a means of creating employment opportunities, and they are committed to supporting and developing new ideas that have the potential to become investable international businesses.

Open to undergraduates, postgraduates, recent graduates, and researchers from various third-level institutes, universities, and research centres, IDEATE Ireland engages communities and promotes entrepreneurship, venture development, and mutual understanding across the island of Ireland. The top ten submissions are selected to participate in an intensive ten-week training and mentorship program, which equips the teams with the skills and knowledge needed to elevate their projects to the next level. Additionally, teams compete for a substantial prize fund of €27k, further incentivizing their entrepreneurial endeavours.
